Finalmente, a cidade de  Simão Dias está prestes a dar início ao processo de municipalização do trânsito e como consequências naturais, várias modificações terão que ser implementadas nas vias públicas para assim fluir melhor a passagem de veículos.

Baseado em informações, dentre as mudanças que serão apresentadas visando os melhoramentos no trânsito, os taxistas que atuam no “Ponto de Correia”, irão ser transferidos para a Praça da Juventude. Ao que parece, todos os profissionais do volante estão aceitando numa boa a alteração do ponto, porém, segundo informações de um taxista, a Prefeitura terá que tratar todos por igual já que nem todos os profissionais que estão na ativa estão regularizados, possuem alvarás e pagam impostos, por isso, o Município necessita ver essa questão.
