SENADO: PODEMOS QUER ÁLVARO DIAS PRESIDENTE

O partido Podemos caminha para se transformar no maior do Senado, em condições de disputar sua presidência. Após o senador Antonio Reguffe (DF), sem partido há anos, o Podemos ganhará reforços como o senador Flávio Arns (PR), e na quarta (18) receberá a senadora Selma Arruda (MT). Em 2021, o partido planeja eleger Álvaro Dias (PR) presidente do Senado, muito embora ele se recuse a tratar do assunto. Com a filiação de Reguffe, o Podemos já é a segunda maior bancada.

Outro político importante do partido de Jair Bolsonaro que pode trocar o PSL pelo Podemos é o campeão de votos Major Olímpio (SP).

Mário Covas Neto, chefão do Podemos-SP, que tem pedigree, mas não tem votos, veta o ingresso do senador Major Olímpio no partido.
 
Álvaro Dias não fala sobre a o projeto de sua candidatura a presidente. Diz apenas que o Podemos “está procurando crescer com qualidade”.
 
É tradição: a maior bancada indica o presidente do Senado, e o MDB, pela primeira vez, pode ser atropelado pelo Podemos, segunda maior.
