ADUSTINA E PARIPIRANGA/BA: MUNICÍPIOS RECEBERÃO R$ 20 MIL DA JUSTIÇA PARA COMBATER PANDEMIA DO COVID-19

A pedido do Ministério Público da Bahia (MP-BA), a Justiça determinou a destinação de R$ 20 mil provenientes de cumprimento de pena de prestação pecuniária, transação penal e suspensão condicional para ações de combate à pandemia do coronavírus nos municípios de Adustina e Parapiranga. Segundo o promotor de Justiça Kerginaldo Reis de Melo, autor do pedido, os recursos deverão ser utilizados para a aquisição de insumos médico-hospitalares de necessidade emergencial, prioritariamente aparelhos respiratórios e equipamentos como máscaras de proteção, escudos faciais e materiais de proteção dos profissionais de saúde.  

Os valores foram divididos entre as Secretarias Municipais de Saúde de Adustina e Parapiranga. Os Municípios deverão enviar ao MP documentos pertinentes à prestação de contas, tais como notas fiscais dos produtos de uso adquiridos, recebimento e atestado de entrega dos materiais. “A destinação de recursos provenientes dos processos decorrentes da atuação finalística judicial do MP, a exemplo das verbas oriundas de pena pecuniária alternativa à prisão, para utilização na área da saúde segue o previsto na Resolução nº 313/2020, do Conselho Nacional de Justiça, editada em razão da situação emergencial decorrente da proliferação da pandemia do coronavírus”, destacou o promotor de Justiça. (Bahia Notícias)
