Embora a polícia de Simão Dias tenha mostrado serviço à população com prisões, apreensões e recuperação de objetos produtos de furtos, a bandidagem vem agindo constantemente e provocado assaltos e principalmente furtos, que em sua maioria não chega ao conhecimento da polícia.

Elementos estão preferindo arrombamentos de casas ou estabelecimentos comerciais para furtar dinheiro e notebooks, como ocorreu num local onde se faz trabalhos de silk – screen.

Não bastasse o número elevado de vítimas de furtos até o CISP (Centro Integrado de Segurança Pública) teve um cadeado furtado nesta quarta, 3, pela marginalidade. Em Simão Dias nem delegacia está escapando da ação dos meliantes que passaram o cinco sem dó e piedade.
